Netop OnDemand provides unparalleled flexibility for your organizational support needs by offering two different ways of initiating a help desk session: the help service or the service ticket mode. Both modes can be in use at the same time.
Help service mode
When support is needed end users simply activate a Web link, run a small executable, and fill out an incident description. The request is automatically queued at the help desk where it waits for the next available help desk agent.
Service-ticket mode
In service-ticket mode end-users usually contact the help desk by phone. The service agent then directs the end user to a specific Web site or e-mails a link from where the small program is downloaded. A unique, one-time service ticket is created by the help desk representative. This ensures that Netop OnDemand connects to the same agent to the same user.
Easy to adapt
OnDemand creates simple host files with various authorization levels. The graphical user interface can be adapted to meet your corporate design.
Full remote control functions
You can display a host desktop as full screen or as a window, and host control is performed using a keyboard and mouse allowing remote controlled activation of commands and applications.
Extremely user-friendly
A very small host file (~650 kb) supports OnDemand and it can be run with a click of the mouse. The system does not require installation or administration rights and facilitates automatic and complete deletion of the host file when the session has ended.
Transparent for the user
OnDemand enables manual access confirmation by user with clear-text overview for rights associated with the help desk and provides a hot key for breaking the connection.
Firewall-compatible
OnDemand does not require complicated reconfiguring of the firewall through use of HTTP protocol over port 80. Our flexible configuration allows you to run Netop OnDemand through other ports.
Secure direct connection
We provide a direct and encrypted connection between Host, WebConnect and Guest computers without any need to interpose an external server. No 3rd party servers are used, ensuring the highest level of security. A host can disconnect at any time, placing the customer in control of the session.
Secure bidirectional file transfer
OnDemand has a high-performance file manager with drag and drop support for transferring updates, patches and drivers, or for picking-up files from remote computers for diagnosis through the help desk.
